Post-natal depression and Breastfeeding are the focus of the latest edition of birth & beyond. There are also birth stories, book reviews and other articles contributed mainly by women who have used the centre. Future editions will cover homebirth and water birth, VBAC and men at birth. Please get in touch if you would like to contribute.
The Spring 2006 issue of birth & beyond was the first edition to be published on our website. In the past we have posted paper copies free of charge to our readership. As a registered charity and mainly voluntary run organisation we require funding to cover the cost of doing this. Until we are able to secure more funding, making the journal freely available electronically is the best way we can reach as many people as possible. We hope it will also be a slightly more eco-friendly approach to our publishing. Paper copies are still available to subscribers (see below).
