Marathon woman
As well as being a mother of two young children and
one of our co-ordinators, Jo Harknet has found time to train to run the
Edinburgh Marathon on 25th May. She's generously collecting sponsorship
in aid of the Birth Resource Centre. If you'd like to support her
supporting us you can sponsor her on-line at the Just Giving website or send her a message of support here.
Homoeopathy for First Aid- 31st May 2008 10.30am-1pm
Learn how to use homoeopathy
for simple and minor first aid
situations. We'll look at how to use homoeopathic remedies alongside
practical and other chosen treatments for shock, burns, cuts, injuries,
sprains and strains, fractures, bites and stings. Learn which remedies
and books are most useful to have in a homoeopathic home first aid-kit. There will be an opportunity to ask
your questions about homoeopathy. £15 per person. Contact us for more information and booking.

Run by Akiko Kimura, starting January 18th. Click here for more details
Breastfeeding Support Group
From August the breastfeeding group will only
meet
for the La Leche League meetings on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each
month. The La Leche League meetings have been very well attended but
demand for the group has been low on the in-between weeks. If
you would welcome a group on non-LLL weeks please let
us know as we will keep the situation under review.
